August Summary

August was anything but Quiet

August in Blue Notes, was anything but quiet;

We saw North Korea back down from firing at Guam and instead shot a missile over northern Japan, and we responded with ‘missiles and markets’ what you need to know about how it affects your money.

We had 2 bouts with Hurricane Harvey and we told you that it would raise gas prices 5 to 10 cents at the pump because of the temporary shutdown of some of the refineries in the area.  It raised them 7 cents, on the average so far.

Janet Yellen spoke in Jackson Hole, basically saying "remember what got us into this mess young man" to Pres Trump, who wants looser banking restrictions. She might not make it past next February when her term is up. we'll see what happens then!

We Noted differences in the Large Cap Growth and Small Cap Growth styles and told you what it means to you and what you should be doing about it.

... And we poked a little fun at our competition.  That's o.k, they probably didn't even hear us say it.

Did Your adviser do all of that for you in August?

If not, why not?
Maybe he was doing all of it and not telling you?
Or maybe he was just...
asleep at the wheel?
